Jails Peer Group

Facilitator: Shaun Klucznik and Tony Wilkes

Tuesday, February 20, 2024

11:30-12:30 p.m. ET

Join Your Peers from Confinement Facilities Nationwide for a Discussion on COVID-19 Next Steps. Join a quarterly facilitated discussion for confinement facilities working to detect and mitigate COVID-19 in jails.

The purpose of the Confinement Facilities Peer Groups is to offer opportunities to discuss the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) training and technical assistance to Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases (ELC) recipients and corrections authorities for detecting and mitigating COVID-19 in confinement facilities within their jurisdictions. Learn more.

The Confinement Facilities Peer Groups will cover relevant topics, such as the end to the Public Health Emergency, promote the sharing of promising practices and lessons learned, identify issues or challenges with program execution and mitigation strategies, and facilitate networking opportunities.
