Total Solar Eclipse Training 

NCCAT is hosting a training opportunity with  Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) at our Cullowhee campus on April 10-13, 2017. PARI will facilitate training for 15 teams (two K-6 grade level teachers per team) preparing each team to host a community event for the August 21, 2017 solar eclipse.

The purpose for this program is to assist the participants in building an event for their community. A team of two K-6 grade level teachers should attend together. Each team will receive one kit of materials to be used in planning an event.

Event Hosts must agree to hold a community program on August 21 2017.
