Many workforce professionals, understandably, have not had the chance to learn about the criminal justice system! This hour and a half webinar will guide attendees through the complexities of the criminal justice system for a deeper understanding on how to support workforce development and employment upon release.

Key learning objectives include:

  • An overview of the criminal justice system from entry to exit
  • Identifying key partners and government agencies, especially in community supervision
  • Defining the difference between Parole vs. Probation and Prison vs. Jail
  • A look at Community Corrections and Justice Supervision in New York State.

This webinar is ideal for anyone looking to better understand, train, support, and/or employ individuals with a justice involved history. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with the experts to support the learning.
