Tree Planting with University of Oregon, UPS, and Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah!

Get outside with the University of Oregon, UPS and Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah for a habitat restoration party in the Mt. Pisgah area's South Meadow! We're coming together to plant up to 1,000 trees and shrubs and to remove invasive species in this floodplain forest so that native plants and animals can thrive!

Meet at 11:30 am at Mt. Pisgah's White Oak Pavillion for registration and a free box lunch. Leave at noon to walk to the South Meadow with the group. Free t-shirt, snacks, drinks and parking passes will be provided on-site for all! Carpools encouraged.

Over the last 15 years, Friends of Buford Park & Mt. Pisgah has been transforming the South Meadow to restore the floodplain function. This was one of the first large-scale river restoration projects on the main stem of the Willamette. With the help of volunteers like you, Friends of Buford Park is now putting the finishing touches on this project. We hope you'll join us!
