Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Inc. will be hosting the 58th Grand Council Convention (GCC) in Naples, Florida. The details are as follows:

Who:    Kappa Psi Brothers, Significant Others, and Children

When:  August 1st - 5th, 2017

Why:    This is your opportunity to meet and network with Brothers across the U.S., Canada, and the Bahamas, attend professional and fraternal workshops, learn about our great Fraternity, vote on legislative changes that could affect your Chapter or Province, and vote for your new International Executive Committee. There will be plenty of fellowship events as well. Spouses, significant others, and children will have special programming. Attending GCC is a life changing experience – Just ask anyone that has been to one!    

Florida's Paradise Coast is in Southwest Florida, on the Gulf side of the state. Key areas are Naples, Marco Island, Everglades City, Immokalee and Ave Maria, with each offering one-of-a-kind experiences. Thrill to outdoor adventures in the Everglades, discover culinary delights, find inspiration in arts and culture, and immerse yourself in an idyllic Florida beach vacation.  The average temperature in August is 84 degrees F with potential for random thunderstorms and higher humidity.  With an average of 264 sunny days a year, Florida's Paradise Coast is home to one of the country's mildest climates. We have planned some quality events such as officer forums, personal and professional development workshops, leadership and chapter development workshops, fun receptions, and lots of beach time!  Unique to this GCC, we will be bringing in several new features, including philanthropic projects benefiting the Safe & Healthy Children's Coalition of Collier County, electronic voting, a new GCC app, a plenary session on Depression and Suicide Risk Awareness and Prevention and, as always, plenty of opportunities for Foundation fundraisers. Registration includes the Opening Reception, Forums, Workshops, Scholarship and Awards Luncheon, Pool and Beach Social, Movie Night, GCD Luncheon (GCDs only), Graduate/Benefactor Reception (Graduates and Benefactors only), Guest Social Event (Guests only), Alpha Reception,138th Anniversary Banquet, GCC favors, and memories that will last a lifetime!

The 58th GCC will be held at the Naples Grande Beach Resort which has direct access to the beach via the Mangrove Boardwalk and is only 6 miles from historic downtown Naples, a high end area with shops and restaurants, as well as 4 miles from the Mercato, a collegiate friendly atmosphere perfect for socializing. 

Room Rates:  Naples Grande Beach Resort Guest Room costs are as follows: 

Standard Tower Room $154/night (rooms guaranteed in the conference block)

Note: most rooms are two queens, king rooms will book fast and are first come, first serve.

Garden Villa Suites at $194/night (first come, first serve based on hotel availability - king bed only)

Gulf View Tower Suites at $354/night (first come, first serve based on hotel availability - king bed only)

(All rates are quoted for single/double occupancy, additional $10 per person per room night will be charged for triple/quadruple occupancy).

Please Note:  There are a LIMITED number of Garden Villa Suites and Gulf View Tower Suites that may be accessed via the hotel reservation link (select "Attendee"). These rooms are not guaranteed and are on a first come, first serve basis based on hotel availability, so earlier booking is encouraged. Travel Information: If you are driving to Naples, valet parking is available at the hotel for $15/night and self parking is available at $5/night.

It is recommended to fly into the Southwest Florida International Airport (in Fort Myers) which is the closest airport, approximately 30 miles from the hotel. Alternate options include Tampa International Airport (160 miles North of the hotel), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (110 miles East of the hotel) or Miami International Airport (110 miles Southeast of the Hotel).
