Aroostook Partnership for Progress/LEAD Education to Industry Breakfast

Please join folks from the Aroostook Partnership for Progress, the business community and educators for a free breakfast to discuss a new initiative entitled, "Education to Industry."

The event will be May 1 from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Edmunds Conference Center on the campus of Northern Maine Community College.

APP President Bob Dorsey will spell out the "Sense of Urgency" as it relates to the decline in the 18- to 44-year-old workforce in the region and how an "Education to Industry" initiative may help.

Also on hand will be SAD 27 Superintendent Tim Doak, who has agreed to serve on the workgroup tasked with finding best practices and engaging the business community.
