Mark Rousseau manages the Energy and Environmental programs for Housing, Dining and Auxiliary Enterprises at UCSB. He's been working on utility management (energy, water, recycling, compost, trash and alternative fuels), resource conservation and efficiency, and LEED projects at UCSB for 22 years.
He works with staff, students and faculty to reduce operational costs and lessen the environmental impacts for over 10,000 residents and customers at Housing, Dining and auxiliary facilities. He worked closely with Residential Dining on their Green Business certifications.
Mr. Rousseau has a Master's in Resource Development from Michigan State University and a Biochemistry degree from University of Caliornia, San Diego. He's worked in the environmental consulting field and in the Philippines with the US Peace Corps.
