Financial Wellness for Surgeons & Spouses

The evening will include a panel of distinguished leaders who will address the convergence of financial wellness and leadership in the medical industry.

As an Attending Physician who has transitioned into practice, you may be stressed, wondering if you are on track to meet your financial goals. You are asking yourself, colleagues, or family how to organize your finances and what you should do with your money. The panelists will discuss the six important money decisions for physicians and how they affect the five key topics below:

1. Taxes- As your income grows taxes become more complex.
2. Surgery Centers- Decisions around surgery centers and practice buy-ins.
3. Education Costs- As your family grows, so do the costs of education for your children.
4. Moonlighting- Dealing with outside income opportunities.
5. Stress- Financial organization as life gets busy.

It is important to articulate your short-term and long-term goals, so you don’t look back in few years and wish you had made a plan sooner.
