Shaman Journeys: Tracking Arts

Shaman translates to mean ‘one who sees with the heart’ or ‘one who sees in the dark.’ Shamanism is not a religion, but a method based on direct experience to benefit others on the soul level. Join Katalin Koda for an evening exploration of shamanic arts.

In this workshop we will explore tracking arts. Shamanic tracking uses the drum journey method to tune into the non-ordinary or shamanic aspects of places around the world.

We will practice:

practice tracking to different locales around the world
use spirit helper guidance

Tracking is a powerful way to connect to our relations, the earth through time and distance. Tracking helps us to:

increace focus and perception in daily life
send healing to various parts of the earth, including land or waters that are suffering
find people and connect with them psychically
receive messages from different beings, plant life on earth

Katalin has been working with shamanic arts for over eighteen years including body and breath awareness, ceremony, myth and archetypal wisdom. She is the author of several books, including Fire of the Goddess. Spending the last fifteen years in India and Hawai’i’ her healing work is deeply inspired by the indigenous wisdom and teachings of these lands.
