Brevard County is home to numerous private and corporate foundations that award grants to eligible 501(c)3 non-profit organizations. The Community Foundation for Brevard will be hosting two briefings featuring several of Brevard's noted grantmakers.
These sessions are free for 501(c)(3) organizations (non-profits) and a valuable opportunity to learn what grantmakers anticipate for the upcoming 2018 grant cycle, tips for submitting a competitive grant application and lessons learned from previous years. These sessions will include an overview of the process, priorities and requirements of the grant cycle. Non-profit representatives will also be able to take part in a Q&A following the briefing.
Attendance is strongly encouraged for organizations interested in applying for grants in 2018, particularly those with limited or no prior grant-writing experience.
