This year's Planned Giving Workshop is being split into two distinct 4-week sessions (all on Zoom):

  • Register for 201 Session presented on Tuesday mornings starting in January 2024 - for those looking to expand their knowledge further in a standalone session or continuing from the 101 Session.
  • Thank you for attending the 101 Session presented on Tuesday mornings in September 2023 - perfect for those new to planned giving or anyone looking for a refresher.

201 Session: Tuesdays in January 2024

WHEN: Virtual sessions will be held from 8:30 am - 10:00 am on the following Tuesdays: January 9, January 16, January 23 and January 30.

ABOUT: Our 201 Workshop Session was developed as a continuation of Session 101 or as a standalone session for fundraisers who have a basic knowledge of planned giving and wish to dive more into technical deferred giving vehicles such as Charitable Gift Annuities, CRUT/CRATs, life insurance, real estate, and other special gifts. 

All sessions include handouts, presentation notes and recordings will also be shared for a period of 4 weeks following the last presentation date. Details and dates subject to change.

 

101 Session: Watch for the next run of 101 Session in 2024 

WHEN: Virtual sessions in 2024 with dates to be announce later.  

ABOUT: Developed for fundraisers interested in learning more about planned giving, local planned giving experts and attorneys will walk you through the basics of structuring a planned giving program, terms you need to know, and the most popular types of deferred giving vehicles. The final session includes a marketing presentation to help you get your program off the ground. 

All sessions include handouts, presentation notes and recordings will also be shared for a period of 4 weeks following the last presentation date. Details and dates subject to change.
