2021 Tax Law Reform: Planning in Uncertain Times

In addition to President Biden's "green book" proposals for tax reform and revenue generation, three major pieces of legislation have been introduced in Congress this year that directly impact estate and charitable planning. 

Reinhart attorneys Kelsey Berns and Matt Ackmann examine what has been proposed, the likelihood of enactment, and the possible impact on estate and charitable planning.

Matt Ackmann is an associate attorney in Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren’s Trust & Estates Practice.  Matt assists a wide range of clients including individuals and families, closely-held business owners and non-profit organizations.  Matt received his B.A. from Loyola University Chicago and his J.D. from Marquette University Law School.   


Kelsey L. Berns
is an attorney in Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren’s Trusts and  Estates Practice where she advises wealthy individuals a
nd families on a wide range of estate planning matters, such as complex wealth transfer planning, charitable planning strategies, and tax planning.  Kelsey received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
