Workshop Series (Virtual Offering)


Clues and Cues - Basic Charitable Gift Planning Concepts You Can Use 

Are you a fundraiser looking to expand your knowledge of estate gift options? New to charitable gift planning? Need to sharpen your skills? Join us for the 20th offering of the Planned Giving Workshop Series!

Due to high demand, the workshop series is being offered again this spring. The virtual nature of this series welcomes participants from across Wisconsin and the Country to learn from local experts.

Presenters: Experts in the field from Foley & Lardner LLP, The Greater Milwaukee Foundation, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Quarles & Brady LLP, Medical College of Wisconsin and more.

Topics: The workshop series provides a broad overview of terms & vehicles, tax fundamentals, attracting donors, stewardship and ethical considerations. This practical, interactive course is interlaced with virtual break-out sessions and case studies. You will walk away with the tools you need to know to manage and expand your planned giving efforts, including:

  • ·        Understanding a broad range of planned giving vehicles
  • ·        Understanding essential tax concepts
  • ·        Identifying planned giving prospects
  • ·        Marketing your planned giving program
  • ·        Matching donors with planned giving vehicles

Cost: 

Members of the Planned Giving Council of Eastern Wisconsin - $40

Non Members and Members of other PGC Councils - $120 (Cost includes a one year membership to the Planned Giving Council of Eastern Wisconsin. Once registered, details on joining our chapter will be sent to you.)

    Attracting Donors and Keeping Them

All sessions will be recorded and shared with registered attendees for a period of 2 weeks following the original presentation date.
