Pre-Lunch Session: Blended Gifts & The Role of Taxes

Learn why the economic recovery, changes in the US donor population and changing tax incentives are changing how many charitable gifts are structured, and why donors and advisors will increasingly turn to gifts that feature both current and future benefits.  And, while taxes are not the primary motivator for gifts, and often can be over emphasized, a balanced understanding of the taxes involved in blended gifts is important and necessary to closing these gifts.  This session will introduce the basics of income, estate and gift taxes in regard to blended gifts.
