Thursday, March 14, 2019

New Location: The Woman's Club of Wisconsin

Join Attorneys Kelsey E. Bailey and Kelsey L. Berns, from Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, for a summary of the potential impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on charitable giving and a number of charitable strategies that should be considered in light of the changes in the law.

Attorney Kelsey Bailey

Kelsey E. Bailey is an attorney in Reinhart's Trusts and Estates Practice. She focuses her practice on helping individuals and families craft estate plans that cater to their unique personal and financial goals, including tax planning and charitable planning.  Kelsey regularly works with clients to develop techniques to best manage their property during their lifetimes and fulfill their wishes for how their property is distributed at death.  Additionally, Kelsey helps clients develop a plan for decision making in the event of incapacity.  Further, Kelsey works with clients and advises fiduciaries involved in estate administrations.  Kelsey believes all estate planning matters are personal and distinct, and truly enjoys working with clients to find solutions that are right for them.

Prior to joining the firm, Kelsey was a staff attorney at Centro Legal, a firm that provides free and low-cost legal services for individuals and families in Milwaukee County.  From her time at Centro Legal, Kelsey brings a strong appreciation for collaboration with clients to achieve their goals.  During law school, Kelsey worked as a law clerk in Reinhart's Trust and Estates Practice where she assisted in drafting agreements, petitions, and other documents pertaining to the administration of trusts, conducted research, and assisted with many other client-related matters.
