Planned Giving Program

Thursday, March 8, 2018

A primer for development professionals, agency executives and board members in small shops, this session is a good refresher for experienced development professionals. Learn which planned gifts to promote and how a program to attract them can be established quickly and inexpensively. In addition to resource rich handouts, participants will be guided to build a relevant budget and timeline that can be implemented anywhere.

Learning Outcomes:

At the conclusion of this session, participants will:

1.  Understand how basic planned giving vehicles work.

2.  Know which planned gifts to promote.

3.  Be able to inaugurate and promote a planned giving program.

4.  Build a realistic planned giving program budget.
