About Our Speaker
Stephen James was born and raised in South Bend and attended the University of Notre Dame receiving his degree in Business. He has been involved in various aspects of the insurance industry for over 10 years with experience in both Underwriting and Sales. For over 8 years he worked for an insurance carrier and partnered with brokers and employers to create employee benefits programs for all industries. While on the carrier side, he helped collaborate the creation, implementation and marketing of 12 separate chamber association benefit programs in central Indiana. For the last 2 years he has worked for Capstone Administrators which specializes in Trust/Association, multiple employer and MEWA plans. Capstone currently administers 6 Trust/Association plans in 2 states while also providing compliance solutions for employers and brokers nation-wide.
