Driving Directions
Companies and organisations everywhere say they want a digital transformation - they recognise the potential for digital technology to help them. But they don't know how to get there, and many of their efforts fail.
Some links to videos and slides from the event are within the agenda below
We see an emerging business opportunity for digital transformation "map-makers", offering a service to help companies get there - we could call it 'digital transformation map making as a service'.
You can take on this role both working within an organisation, as an external advisor / consultant, or someone developing digital technology. The job title could be anything from IT manager, data scientist, consultant or even 'head of digital transformation'. Probably, it is a big component of the job you already do. We'll explore what it looks like in our forum in Athens on Oct 17.
Some people say 'Agile' offers all the answers to finding your digital transformation map. But Agile is a downstream execution tool. Organisations need a way to express their needs in light of new opportunities and describe the digital technology to support it.
Agenda:

- We are thus in a constant struggle to improve software development management capabilities.
-Data visualization methods have been instrumental in allowing us to cope with complexity, recognize relationships and decide on actions.
- What if we try to look at software projects as a rapidly changing and evolving landscape?
- Couldn’t we create maps to guide our exploration and journeys and even to improve our capability to manage it?
