The New Lawyers Boot Camp is full-day a practice skills learning experience targeted at lawyers in their first or second years of practice.

Topics will include time management, time keeping and billing, managing written discovery, taking and defending those first depositions, best practices for court appearances, and professionalism and collegiality.

The class will be taught by two experienced defense attorneys, Tom Rice and Brendan Powers, with a special appearance by 2nd Judicial District Court Judge, Edward D. Bronfin and Judge John Leopold (Ret.), who will offer a judicial perspective on court appearances by newer attorneys. 
Top notch learning for our new lawyers. Class will be limited to 20 attendees.

9:45-10:45 am - Time Recording and Billing.

12:30-1:30 pm - Dealing With Written Discovery

1:30 - 2:30 pm - Taking and Defending Your First Depositions. 

2:45-3:45 pm - Professionalism and Collegiality. 

3:45-4:45 pm - How to Find and Benefit From Continuing Education.  

4:45-5:00 pm - Closing Remarks
