Attendees will learn about the PTSD bill for emergency responders, the Pinnacol bill to allow Pinnacol to write insurance for out of state employers, and pending changes to workers’ compensation law regarding substantive and procedural changes to Rules of Procedure. Changes in the law may affect deadlines, employment benefits, and notification rules to employees.

Erin Goff, General Counsel of Axiom Strategies, will present on 2016 passed, pending, and possible legislation regarding workers’ compensation and employment law.

Erin brings extensive legal and legislative experience in many areas, including: land use, urban renewal, tax increment finance, condemnation, annexation, criminal and civil justice, immigration, technology, public finance and municipal law. Prior to joining Axiom Strategies, Erin was the Senior Staff Attorney and Legislative Director for the Colorado Municipal League where she advocated municipal policy positions before the state legislature and administrative agencies.
