Stress in the workplace or while job hunting is more pervasive than ever. Work today demands a 24/7 time commitment, high levels of productivity and rapid adjustment to changing priorities, all while under the threat of layoffs and outsourcing. When this stress is added to the trials of managing your personal life it’s not surprising that Americans find themselves unable to work with focused intention. As a result, workplace, job search and personal stress is increasingly leading to fatigue and burnout.

This workshop teaches you how to manage stress effectively, allowing you to be both present and productive in the workplace or while job hunting. Participants will learn how to renew themselves and re-establish their equilibrium using the holistic BEST Model© as a foundation. You’ll gain methods to liberate you from unproductive and unhealthy responses to stressful situations. Participants learn proven practices to minimize stress while expanding their capacity to accept change and build resilience. Stress today is inevitable, but it is manageable! Join us to learn powerful tools drawn from Positive Psychology, mindfulness, humor, and art to create sustainable well-being. You’ll leave with the gift of life sustaining knowledge.

Here’s some of what you’ll do in this workshop:

  • Determine your strengths using the Roadmap to Resilience© self-assessment
  • Identify your specific stress reactions for each component of the BEST Model
  • Identify five aspects of control and the role they play in your work and/or life
  • Learn strategies to strengthen your ability to bounce back, building your resilience
