This one-day workshop is designed to strengthen your speaking skills and boost your confidence.  No matter what your comfort level, you’ll come away with tips and techniques to use for a lifetime!  If you shudder at the thought of giving a toast, a presentation, a speech – or if you’re pretty comfortable, but could use a refresher – then this class is for you.

Each member will have at least two opportunities to speak and receive 1:1 individual coaching. You will:
Recognize 10 common errors speakers make -- and how to avoid them – including
     a.   Nervousness                                b. “Talking Head” syndrome
     c.   Monotone delivery                        d. Talking to no one in particular … plus 6 more!

We’ll address YOUR top concerns about speaking in any setting. You’ll learn strategies to help you break through the barriers holding you back. Our goal: to enable you to be able to deliver your message with CONFIDENCE, CLARITY and CONVICTION!

Whatever your comfort level, this workshop will help you improve your skills in a supportive, collaborative and safe environment! Please take time to prepare a 2-3 minute speech on something you know well. It could be a portion of a presentation you already gave or are about to, or some thoughts about where you live and what you like about living there. More details, and a pre-workshop survey, will be emailed to you upon registration.

Who Should Attend? Salespeople, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Directors, Executives, Public Servants, Meeting Facilitators, Professionals, Students, Reluctant speakers – anyone who has an occasion to speak in public!

Presenter:  Michael Chase, an award-winning speaker in Toastmasters International and a frequent presenter and meeting facilitator at events throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts, inspires and motivates participants at any level to improve their speaking skills.  He uses his unique marketing, sales, and theater experience to create a fun and supportive environment to help people speak with clarity, confidence, and conviction!  For more information, visit his company site at www.linkedin.com/in/greatresultsllc.
