People with the skills to run a successful Annual Fundraising Campaign and obtain Major Gifts are in-demand. These are important skills for anyone interested in or working in the non-profit world.

In this workshop you will learn how to manage a successful Annual Campaign that leads to successful long-term donors. What makes a donation a ‘major gift’?  Learn what a major gift is and the information gathering process leading up to the ‘ask’ for a major donation.

This workshop is  crucial for professionals transitioning from corporate America into non-profit fundraising, for volunteers taking a more active role in fundraising, for Board members interested in making a bigger impact at their 501(c)(3), and for job seekers desiring to break into non-profits.

Participants Will Learn the Following:

  • The nuances of an Annual Campaign
  • Characteristics of a major gift
  • How to ‘ask’ for a major gift
  • How to steward donors
