Looking to enhance your Home-Schooling curriculum ????

Here is a fantastic opportunity!

New York Learning Adventures & Home Schooling has been created in order to provide support for consistent educational opportunities for the home-schooling community. Collaborations have been made with cultural institutions in order to form a quality educational experience. You're invited to attend Brooklyn Children's Museum's eight week Fall session.

New York Learning Adventures & Home Schooling (N.Y.L.A.H.S.) has created a collaboration with Brooklyn Children's Museum & Bricks 4 Kidz. Beginning October 11, 2012 classes will meet from 10 am to 11am every Thursdays excluding holidays. Visit the Children's Museum on the web.

With this program, along with Self-Guided Tour, you can enjoy a hands-on, interactive and educational experience! Then, when your program is over, you and your child or children can explore the rest of the Museum at your own pace! The Program for Early Childhood (K-1) is 45 minutes and the programs for 2nd Grade and up are 60 minutes. Self-Guided Exploration runs until 1:00PM.

Following the Brooklyn Children's Museum class there will also be the option to join an additional class with Bricks 4 Kidz.

"Bricks 4 Kidz classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO� bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity."

Bricks for Kidz is a separate program from the Children's Museum Program and is scheduled to meet from 12pm to 1pm. The cost of this event is $215.00 and it is 6 weeks long.
