The PrePose Method is a science-based system that combines physical therapy and yoga to create mindful movement by answering three important questions: what to focus on; why it matters; and how to improve it. Like more simple poses, headstand is achievable to all by asking what, why and how. If headstand is new/newer to you, the PrePose Method will help you define what you should focus on for strength and flexibility, explain why you need to focus on those areas, and give you prescribed exercise progressions that teach you how to practice headstand effectively and safely for your current abilities.
For those who are already practicing headstand, The PrePose Method will help you refine it by teaching you the what, why, how in order to improve your balance, strength and stamina. It will allow you to take that information and apply it to other areas of your practice, including handstand, forearm stand and arm balances.
