The PrePose Method: Muscles For Yoga, Series 1

Orientation & Integrative Flow Class

The PrePose Method (PPM) is a system that helps you to bring mindfulness to your movement. It can be applied to any activity, and in this class, Carrie and Dr. Chloe will be applying the PPM to yoga. 

Following the incredible success of the PrePose for yoga launch class, Dr. Chloe and Carrie are offering both a one hour orientation and a 75 minute class for their next installment: Muscles For Yoga, Series 1. The launch class focused on joints and how to move them, whereas this next class focuses on the muscles involved and how to increase their flexibility and stability. Both classes are equally important, and both complete each other. 

The orientation is mandatory for anyone who hasn't taken the PPM Muscle Lengthening & Activation class, as it will teach you everything you need to know before taking the related PrePose integrated flow class. **You can still attend if you didn’t attend the PPM launch class** The orientation will cover what you need to know! 

Orientation; Series 1, Muscle Lengthening & Activation: Time:1-1:50pm. 

The Goals:

  • Teach you what the PrePose Method is and what to expect in a PrePose class.
  • Teach you the upper and lower body muscle lengthening and activation exercises of the first series, and why you do them. 
  • Answer all of your questions like “how does this fit into my regular yoga practice?” “how often do I practice this?” And more.
Integrative Flow Class; Series 1, Muscle Lengthening & Activation: Time:2-3:15pm. 

What To Expect:
  • Learn lengthening and activation exercises for specific muscle groups to increase your overall flexibility and improve your strength and stability.
  • Learn the PrePoses: modifications of the day's poses designed to bridge the gap between the muscle flexibility/activation exercises and the day's yoga poses.
  • Integrated flow: a seamless flow designed to weave the PrePose Method into your yoga practice led by the amazing Carrie Morgan.
