Join ODVN and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence for this training on mobile advocacy. Domestic violence mobile advocacy is an accessible form of advocacy that connects survivors with an advocate sooner in the process, eliminates barriers, and prioritizes the unique needs of each individual. This training will focus on what a mobile advocate does, implementing mobile advocacy safely into programming, and addressing the holistic needs of survivors. Participants will feel more comfortable providing mobile advocacy services to survivors and agencies will learn ways to incorporate this form of advocacy into program planning.

Trainers: Blanca McCreary, Crossing Borders Program Coordinator, Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence; Sarah Kendall, Housing Stability Coordinator, Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence; Emily Kulow, Director of Mobile Advocacy and Meaningful Access, Ohio Domestic Violence Network

Cost: Free for ODVN Members (ODVN Member Program or Individual/Organizational Membership); $25 for Non-ODVN Members. ***Note: If paying by check, please include the name of the training on the memo line.
