Community Health Centers: Supporting Domestic Violence Programs and Survivors through COVID and Beyond
During the COVID-19 pandemic, having medical partners is more critical than ever. Learn about opportunities to collaborate with local community health centers, the LARGEST primary care network in Ohio that provides services regardless of insurance or ability to pay. The Ohio Association of Community Health Centers has over 400 sites across the state and delivers comprehensive, culturally competent, high quality health care services in 70 of Ohio's 88 counties. You will learn about all the types of care they provide, information on your local CHC, and how they can support survivors in your programs to address COVID issues. Most importantly, you'll be able to connect survivors with a primary care doctor to address health issues they may be struggling with now and in the future. In addition, you'll learn about opportunities for testing of all shelter residents and staff through strong community collaboration.
