Competent Person Training Fall Protection

This course will take an in-depth look into the topic of fall protection, one of the leading causes of workplace fatalities. It is designed for those responsible for fall protection, regardless of whether the work is at a construction job site or inside a plant.

Some of the objectives of the course include:

• To recognize when and where fall protection is needed
• To understand the fall protection hierarchy
• To select the right equipment for the job
• Inspection, use, care, and maintenance of fall protection equipment
• To realize the importance of PLANNING for fall protection and rescue

Participants will have the opportunity for numerous ‘hands-on’ activities and demonstrations. This course can provide your key personnel with an advanced level of fall protection knowledge. Of course, the main objective is to improve safety in the workplace. Better safety translates directly to improved employee morale, higher quality workmanship, greater productivity, and a competitive advantage.
