Christ Renews His Parish - Men's Retreat

Come together with other parishioners to:

 Relax, pray and re-think priorities. 

 Get to know others in the parish.

 Examine, rediscover, and/or intensify your relationship with Christ. 

 Reflect and share about spiritual and real life issues.  

 

Retreat info:

The retreat begins at 8am on Saturday and ends at approximately 4pm on Sunday.  Retreats are limited to 30 parishioners each weekend.  Spots will be reserved on a first come/first serve basis.

 Come prepared to have fun and be renewed.  Team members center the process around reflection with the emphasis on small group discussions and activities.  Topics covered include the Father’s loving care for us, Scripture, Eucharist, what Christian life is all about, and many others.  

You will be free to share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.  You and your needs will always be respected.  The sharing dialogue is stimulated in a very liturgical, scriptural, and prayerful atmosphere.  Sacraments are part of the weekend.  Mass is celebrated both Saturday and Sunday in chapel.  An opportunity for Reconciliation will be offered.

The retreats will be held within the SMM school and parish buildings. You are welcome to bring your own sleeping gear.  However, if you wish, we will provide a cot or blow-up mattress for you.  Volunteer parishioners will prepare the meals. 

The entire weekend is informal. Casual and comfortable clothing is appropriate.  Every effort will be made to accommodate any special needs.
