Epilepsy Foundation Iowa  - Kids Crew Event:

"Purple Pumpkin Project" 

Epilepsy Foundation Iowa is hosting a family fun event for the Kids Crew famiies in Iowa, as well as children & teens with epilepsy & their families at the Matthew 25 Cultivate Hope Urban Farm in Cedar Rapids where they will receive a medium pumpkin, painted purple, to decorate to help kick off the National Epilepsy awareness campaign, the “Purple Pumpkin Project”! After decorating pumpkins, people may participate in team building activities and pumpkin patch fun. There are many other activities which the youth & their families can enjoy after our gathering! There will be additional pumpkins available to purchase to help financially support epilepsy programs, services & advocacy in Iowa, including purple pumpkins decorated by local businesses and UIHC Neurology and Neurosurgery staff! 

We encourage registration by Sept. 29th to ensure we have enough pumpkins painted purple and ready for decorating!  We hope you can join us!
