Youth Council Members will be hosting a family fun event for children & teens with epilepsy at Williamson’s Pumpkin Patch where they will receive a medium pumpkin, painted purple, to decorate to help kick off the National Epilepsy awareness campaign, the “Purple Pumpkin Project”! After decorating pumpkins, the youth will go for a hayrack ride and participate in team building activities and pumpkin patch fun. There are many other activities which the youth & their families can enjoy after our gathering! There will be additional pumpkins available to purchase to help financially support epilepsy programs, services & advocacy in Iowa.
We encourage registration by Oct. 8th to ensure we have enough purple pumpkins painted and ready to go! We hope you can join us!
