Kol HaNeshamah and the Union for Reform Judaism sponsor this Introduction to Judaism course for the greater Seattle region. The intro course offers a basic foundation in Judaism in 16 sessions, covering topics from history to theology, holidays to prayer. This course is designed for individuals considering conversion to Judaism, interfaith couples and Jews-by-birth who want a refresher course.
Tuesdays, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
January 14, 2020 - May 5, 2020
(plus required session Saturday, March 21st, 2020)
Please contact Rabbi Zari Weiss, rabbi@khnseattle.org, (206) 935-2366, if you have any questions about course registration or requirements.
Tuition for the 16-week course is $250 for community members. Tuition for members of a URJ (Reform) congregation is $180. This tuition fee allows for either one or two people to attend, and we encourage couples to attend together or singles to invite an interested friend.
We value the diversity of our community. We recognize that some can pay more, and some pay less. We want all who want to participate to be able to do so. For those who are able, please pay the tuition fees listed. For those who are not able to pay the full tuition, discounted tuition fees are available.
