About the JWA:

The JWA is a long-standing institution in Hong Kong, born out of the need to help those in our community.

This year, the JWA celebrates its 73rd year of service to the Hong Kong and Israeli communities focusing on the needs of women and children.  We strongly believe in challenging ourselves, and the community around us, to make a difference in the lives of women and children who are in need.

Beneficiaries:

Our beneficiaries last year included Hayim Organization for children with cancer, One in Nine helping women cope with breast cancer, The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation by funding a full time nurse in a low income area of Hong Kong, Hayim helping children with cancer at the Schneider’s Children hospital and Nirim for supporting female youth at risk, and ALMA helping young girls gain leadership skills.
