33nd Annual Great Books Poetry Weekend November 3-4, 2018
The Location: The lovely Vallombrosa Conference Center is within walking distance of downtown Menlo Park. Double and single rooms are available, each with their own private bathroom. All facilities, including parking, are conveniently located. Four buffet-style meals (lunch and dinner on Saturday; breakfast and lunch on Sunday) are included.
The Program: Join us for an intensive weekend of reading and discussing poetry led by trained facilitators. As an added attraction, following a wine and cheese reception on Saturday evening, there will be a reading by accomplished poet, Prartho Sereno. Upon registration, you will receive a packet of the poems to be discussed as well as logistical information. Please indicate below if you would like poems emailed or sent by regular mail.
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: September 30, 2018.
The price for the whole package will be: $210.00 per person (Past deadline $220.00) based on a double-occupancy room with two twin-size beds and its own bathroom. Single occupancy rooms are also available for $230.00 (Past deadline $240.00) --- i.e., your own twin bed and your own private bathroom. Commuters, those not staying over-night, will pay $160.00 (Past deadline $170.00) per person.

Prartho Sereno
Prartho Sereno is author of three prize-winning poetry collections: Indian Rope Trick, Elephant Raga, and Call from Paris. She is also author/illustrator of an award-winning gift-book, Causing a Stir: The Secret Lives & Loves of KitchenUtensils. She is a long-time California Poet in the Schools, teaches at the College of Marin, and was Poet Laureate of Marin County, 2015-2017.
