Diligent detective? Super sleuth? Productive private eye? FIMC-VI knows you are ready to help students solve the mystery of the marshmallow tip and follow the clues to catch the mysterious Mr. Pink to give him back his tail! Come "get a clue" at Manhattan Center at the 2016 Florida Cane Quest on October 29, 2016.
Cane Quest® is a competitive program designed for students with visual impairments in grades 7-12 to test mobility and cane skills, also known as, "Explorers" or "Trailblazers". They listen to pre-recorded instructions to follow one of several routes in residential, light business or business environments. Students in grades 3-6, known as “Scouts”, complete an indoor challenge that is non-competitive. Scouts complete each station with a parent, family member, or other sighted adult. Some stations require the sighted team member to wear a sleep shade and the student does the guiding!
