Kids at Hope in conjunction with Arizona State University offers a one week intensive Youth Development Master’s Institute. The week long institute attracts world leaders in the fields of child and youth development, juvenile justice and education. The institute is recognized for its exciting keynote speakers, workshops, site visits and the latest information about hope, optimism, success and resiliency.
This year we are pleased to announce Antwone Fisher as our honorary dean. Mr. Fisher's life, which was made into a major motion picture starring Denzel Washington, is embelmatic of the mission and vision of Kids at Hope. Antwone will speak about his journey of hopelessness to hope. We are also excited to have Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, a Pediatrician specializing in Adolescent Medicine at Philadelphia Children's Hospital; Lauri Burns, Founder of The Teen Project and a highly regarded and renowned international speaker; and NYPD Chief Joanne Jaffe, whose expolits are chronicled in the bestselling book, DAVID & GOLIATH. Other featured speakers include Charlie Steffens and Spencer Gorin of Creative Spirit; Kenny Dobbs, World Champion Basketball Dunk Shot Artist and Professional Basketball Player; and Rick Miller, Founder, Kids at Hope.
