Magic Loop Mittens with Lori Phillips at Yarn Garage in Rosemount 

This is a two session Class, the first on September 12, 2011 from 10:30 AM  to 12:30 PM.  The second session will be one week later, September 19, 2011 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  The $28.00 fee covers both sessions.  Lorimittens

Learn how to knit mittens using the Magic Loop method! You never need to struggle with the double point needles again! This "magical" method makes knitting mittens a breeze! After learning the technique, you can use the magic loop method for everything from socks to sleeves in the round.

---Needles:  Size according to yarn and gauge with a 40" circular with a flexible cable.  Please no plastic or bamboo needles with stiff cable (ex. clover bamboo needles).  Instructor strongly recommends Addi Turbo, HiyaHiya, or ChiaoGoo Red Lace brand needles.

Note:  Students must take the time to do a gauge before purchasing needles.  It is more important to have the correct gauge than the suggested needle size.  Begin your stockinette stitch swatch with the suggested needle for your yarn choice and then adjust from there.
