Directions:
By TRAM: Travel time from WCMC 30 minutes -   Take the Roosevelt Ave Tram from the NYC Tramway Plaza (Second Ave and 59th Street) to Roosevelt Island.  The Fare is $2.75, and you can use a metro card to pay. Exit the Roosevelt Island Tramway Plaza, and make a right onto  West Main Street. Walk about 3 minutes on West Main Street to 2 West Loop Drive (building on the right) Proceed to the security desk, where you have to show id and you will be checked in. Proceed to Classroom 165B.

By Subway: Travel time from WCMC 35 minutes -  Take the F Train to Roosevelt Island Station. The Fare is $2.75, and you can use a metro card to pay. Exit the subway station and walk straight along West Main Street. Walk straight about 5 minutes to 2 West Loop Drive (building on the right) Proceed to the security desk, where you have to show id and you will be checked in. Proceed to Classroom 165B.

Via Ferry - The Astoria ferry line stops at Roosevelt Island. The Fare is $2.75, and you can use a metro card to pay.It is a 20 minute ride from the 34th Street Ferry Landing, and a 10 minute ride from the Long Island City Ferry landing. Once you arrive at the Roosevelt Island Ferry Landing, make a left and walk over to North Loop Drive. Make a right on to North Loop Drive then go Straight to West Loop Drive. The building is on your left. Proceed to the security desk, where you have to show id and you will be checked in. Proceed to Classroom 165B.

Overview:

You are invited to a networking event held by Cornell's Translational Research Institute on Pain in Later Life (TRIPLL) at the Cornell Tech campus. 

The purpose of this event is to meet faculty, trainees and others interested in translating their research to address pain in older populations. We welcome researchers, trainees and other professionals from a wide range of areas including social, behavioral, economic, environmental, biological, communication, or information sciences. 

We hope you can attend, meet some of TRIPLL's core investigators, explore possible collaborations, and learn about available resources including pilot funding, participant databases, community partners, and much more.  

 6:00: Introductions, Networking, Wine and Cheese                                  

 6:10: Overview of TRIPLL from Director, Cary Reid, MD, PhD          

6:15: Brief presentation by JP Pollack, PhD, Senior Researcher-in-Residence, Cornell Tech

6:20 -6:30: Brief presentations by current TRIPLL Pilots Lisa Mandl, MD, Hospital For Special Surgery, and Andrea Stevenson Won, PhD, Cornell University.

6:30 - 7:30: Continue Networking and Exploring New Partnerships
