Geo-Institute Case Histories Seminar and Student Projects 

The St. Louis Geo-Insitute Chapter of ASCE presents our annual Case Histories Seminar with three presentations. Student projects will also be presented.

Topics include:

  • "Quality Assurance and Control for Jet Grouting Projects" by Greg Terri, PE – Hayward Baker, Inc. 
  •  "Use of Wicking Fabric to Dehydrate Road Embankment under Unsaturated Conditions"  by Xiong Zhang, PhD, PE – Missouri University of Science and Technology
  • "Kaboom! Mitigating Adverse Blasting Impacts Without Reducing Effectiveness" by Greg Hempen, PhD, PE, RG – AECOM

 Doors open at 5:00 PM for check-in and registration, with student posters on display. 

Buffet dinner will be served at 5:30 PM. 

Student presentations will begin at 6:00 PM. 

Case Histories presentations begin at 6:30 PM

Attendees will receive up to 2.5 PDH credits. 

Registration deadline is Tuesday, April 18, 2017. ASCE is charged for all reserved meals. If you've signed up and can't make it, please cancel by 04/18/2017 or we will have to charge you for the meal.
