Season Theme: Rethinking Survival and Growth - Threats, Challenges and Opportunities
Life and business have been thrust into the world of VUCA ... Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity.
This acronym originated back in 1987 and is based on the leadership theories of Warren Bennis and Burt Nanus. It was the response of the U.S. Army War College to the collapse of the USSR in the early 1990's. However, VUCA seems to capture today's current situation more than ever.

Disruption is here to stay and thus creating a new way of living and doing business. Some of these changes were already underway. However, the process got accelerated at an unimaginable rate of speed. Adaption and innovation will be key to keep up to the velocity of today's ever-changing environment.

This season's roundtables will explore threats, challenges and opportunties within these disruptions to forge ahead with strategies to grow and thrive. During these sessions, we will re-imagine the future, evaluate the present and develop a plan for growth to turn VUCA into Vision, Understanding, Clarity and Agility.

November Discussion
While some may struggle to survive and stabilize, others may find new opportunities for growth. Today's environment forces us to re-imagine, re-invent and innovate our products, services and delivery to keep up with the change of this ever-evolving situation. This month's discussion will revolve around the following questions:
- How will your market get disrupted?
- How will your industry get disrupted?
- How will it evolve?
- How relevant are your products and services within this changed environment?
General Roundtable Information
These roundtables have been created to provide an opportunity for business professionals to step away from the daily grind to engage in intellectual discussions and debate with their peers. Through our guided facilitation and extensive research of various articles and case studies, these roundtables are a forum for participants to expand their thinking and challenge existing assumptions. The discussion and debate provide a platform for your organization to remain relevant and competitive into the future. In addition, these sessions provide a safe environment for participants to discuss challenges, share their knowledge and experience and explore solutions and opportunities with their peers.
These roundtables are non-compete and registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Group sizes will be limited in order to allow everyone the opportunity to participate in the discussions. Participants have the option to pay as they go or to sign up for the entire season in advance. The registration page can be accessed below.
Once you register, additional information related to the dates, call-in info and readings will be provided. Confidentiality is required by all participants in order to create a safe environment for the free flow of discussion in sharing individual perspectives, experiences, successes and challenges.
