"Practicing Right Relationship" is a retreat for pastor-elder teams focusing on congregational effectiveness.
This retreat will use Mary Sellon and Daniel Smith's book, Practicing Right Relationship: Skills for Deepening Purpose, Finding Fulfillment, and Increasing Effectiveness in Your Congregation. The focus will be on helping pastor-elder teams to develop four areas of healthy relationship building - self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. Elder teams will be given time to meet together to process the input received.
Lonnie Yoder, professor of pastoral care and counseling at Eastern Mennonite Seminary in Harrisonburg, Va., will be the input speaker for the retreat.
