On the occasion of the 17th Week of The Italian Language in the World a screening og the film Leopardi (2014, 2h 25m) by Mario Martone. Based upon the short but fruitful life of illness-racked Italian poet and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi, the film was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 71st Venice International Film Festival.
