This one day Cow Working Clinic offers you and your horse an opportunity to learn to "track" and "rate" a cow, as well as "cut" a cow from the herd. Additionally, we have a mechanical "cow" to help your horse learn essential maneuvers. You'll learn that not only is "cowboyin" way harder than you'd think, but that cows are smarter than they look! Your horsemanship skills will definitely be applied and tested, but you are guaranteed to have the time of your life!
The clinic fee is $200 and includes a hearty breakfast (8:00 a.m.) and lunch, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day. Auditing is also available for $30 (includes meals).
A limited number of bunk house accommodations are available for rent if desired ($35/day), as well as stall space for your horse ($15/day). We also offer electical hook-ups for campers ($10/day). Please contact us for more information or to make reservations.
Remember to bring items that you need to care for your horse such as: water bucket, feed bucket, hay, grain, hay bag, muck bucket , manure fork, grooming tools, etc.
Cancellation policy: Please note the full cancellation policies as listed on the registration page. Cancellations will be accepted if received by Wednesday, January 18, 2017, however, only $150 is transferable to a future Clinic of your choice (pending availability) due to the cost of cow rental.
