Racial Healing Study 

As FUMC-Belmont seeks to be more like Jesus Christ for our community and beyond, we continue to seek ways to encourage dialogue around the racism that exists in our lives, community, and country.  Beginning July 22nd, Rev. Mark Andrews and Rev. Kim Ingram will facilitate a six-week study using The Racial Healing Handbook: Practical Activities to Help You Challenge Privilege, Confront Systemic Racism, and Engage in Collective Healing. Conversations will be hosted on Zoom, Wednesdays at 7 p.m.  Books will be available for purchase through the church at a discounted cost of $10.  

*These books are currently out of stock online.  We are working with the publisher to get copies.  Therefore, please understand that we may have to adjust the start date of the Zoom conversations in order to ensure participants have received the handbook.  This will also affect when we are able to distribute books.  Once you are registered, we will email you with the details for picking up your materials and for joining the conversation.
