Shabbat Salon Kickoff!
Over time we have heard interest in both having shared meals and guest speakers on Shabbat. The Shabbat Salon is an opportunity for both! We will begin with a full Shabbat service at 6:00 p.m., then at 7:00 p.m. move to the Social Hall for a catered dinner and guest speaker. Dinner is $10 per person.
Our kickoff will be Friday, December 9 when we will share a meal provided by Nineveh Catering and welcome Max Patashnik, the Government Affairs Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, who will speak on the upcoming legislative session.
Important Note: Event Registration is for the dinner ONLY.
You may attend the service and/or speaker presentation without having dinner.

About the Speaker, Max Patashnik
Max became a part of the Jewish Federation because she sees it as a way to give back to a Jewish community that played such a large role in shaping her identity. Bringing her Jewish values together with her love of communications and government relations makes this an ideal role. Max is a Seattle native. Before joining the Federation, she worked for six years at the state Legislature, first as a legislative aide and then in communications and public relations. |
