Winter Bird Walk
Join Great Mountain Forest for an exploration to look and listen for our year-round resident birds, and learn about their strategies for thriving in a Connecticut winter. Caleb May, a wildlife biology major from the University of Vermont and an experienced birder, will lead a walk to observe winter birds and their habitats. The walk will start at the GMF Mountain House and go for approximately two hours, weather permitting. This is a free event, but donations are welcomed. Registration is limited to 12.
