This presentation is an overview of the history of mediumship, including mediumship in the 1800s, mental and physical manifestations, the influences of mediumship, the spread of Spiritualism, the study for psychical research, & the development of research methods & theoretical ideas, such as that of survival of death and of the subconscious mind.
