WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: At this Program Evaluation workshop, participants will receive concrete strategies for collecting, analyzing, and using information to answer questions about projects, policies and programs. We will teach you how to understand the effectiveness and efficiency of your program.
Topics will include:
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This workshop is designed for professionals who oversee an organization, program or serves on the front line of program delivery. Participants at each level will learn the importance of evaluation, how to design and implement evaluation for their program(s) and how using outcome data can leverage additional funding.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER Catherine P. Wilson
Catherine currently serves as the Senior Director of Community Impact and Strategy for United Way of Essex and West Hudson. In this capacity, Catherine provides leadership in developing organizational strategy and oversees the implementation of all programming as it relates to the organization’s three
pillars: Education, Health and Income. She serves as a member of the senior team to ensure the mission of the organization is carried out.
Previously, Catherine served as the Associate Director of Essex CASA for Children. This experience included overseeing all program services, activities, cases supervisors and volunteers who advocated for children in foster care to receive a permanent home. Prior to this position, she served as a local child
protection worker, CASA case supervisor and Senior Case Supervisor.
Catherine received her Bachelor of Arts from Rowan University in communications. She holds a Master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University and most recently has been selected to attend Harvard University’s Executive Education Emerging Leaders program. Catherine is also chair of the board of FP YouthOutcry Foundation, Inc. a local non-profit who serves the children and families of Newark.
