Thursday, February 26th from 9 AM - 3 PM (Registration at 8:30 AM)
AND
Friday, February 27th from 9 AM - 3 PM
Presented by First State Bank & Trust Company and INSPRO Insurance
About the Class:
This 2-day course teaches recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards in construction. The course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. The course was also designed to help workers stay up to date with their OSHA safety requirements.
Most large general contractors will not let a subcontractor or their workers on the jobsite without this course completion card (Sampson, Kiewit & Chief). Most large companies like WalMart, Cargill, Tyson, Pioneer, Monsanto, HyVee or any government agency will not let you do work for them without this course completion card. The course completion card is good for life.
About the Instructor: Doug Fletcher (Fletcher Safety Consulting) worked for OSHA for 17 years and recently became an independent consultant. He makes a boring topic very interesting and gives a lot of good insight into what is important to OSHA.
